We strive to give you the most exceptional dental experience in Oklahoma City. From the moment you walk in our door, we are dedicated to giving you the attentive service and care you deserve.

    The Dental Examination

It’s suggested to have a comprehensive oral examination and cleaning done two times a year. At your first exam, we will take X-rays to check the health of your jaw, teeth, and gums. X-rays are a great tool to let us see what’s going on below the surface. They will not be required at each appointment and we will notify you if we think we need them more than the suggested twice yearly.

During your exam, you will receive a complete assessment of your neck, jaw, tongue, gums, and teeth by one of our highly skilled staff members. This part of the exam is crucial because examining your gums allows us to determine if there is any gum disease present or if further treatment is required. We will also examine your head for any additional problems like TMJ disorder. After we examine your gums and head, we will check each tooth for plaque, cavities, or fractures using a mirror and tiny dental pick. If additional attention is needed, we will capture more X-rays to help us detect the problem so we can begin treatment right away.

    Dental Cleaning

Following your dental exam, one of our team members will give you a full dental cleaning. Similar to exams, oral cleanings are recommended two times a year. Cleanings can help you avoid cavities, give you the chance to check your oral health, and allow us to choose an appropriate treatment plan if we notice any issues or concerns. While professional cleanings are important, it is crucial to your oral health that you practice good oral habits at home as well. This includes brushing at least twice a day and flossing once. We suggest using products that contain the American Dental Association Seal of Acceptance.
